Manchester United Star Paul Pogba to Leave for Barcelona? Read Confirmed News Inside

Manchester United and France star Paul Pogba, whom Jose Mourinho signed for United for a record £89.3 million, is touted to leave Old Trafford for Barcelona, fan pages have already started Pogba edits in the Catalan club jersey after they offered £45m plus Yerry Mina & Andre Gomes for the French midfielder.

Sky Italy has revealed that Barcelona are willing to pay £45m plus Yerry Mina & Andre Gomes as deal sweeteners for Pogba. Manchester United are not interested though, in letting the midfielder leave. Barcelona are serious about securing the services of the 25-year-old. The problem for United is, the Spanish transfer window does not close until 31st August, so till the August end, the Catalan club will have the chance to sign him.

Pogba’s agent Mino Riola is extremely keen on the move as he will pocket 20% of his client’s transfer fees again and Pogba also wants to move to the better opportunity at Barcelona. Reportedly, the French star is miffed with United manager Mourinho.

Reliable Di Marzio revealed that United have rejected the offer from Barcelona for Pogba. The offer was €50m + Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes. Di Marzio added ”United do not want to sell Pogba due to his ability and marketing power. He is the ‘face of the franchise’ ”.

According to the Times, Pogba has told his teammates that he is unhappy with Mourinho. Times added, ‘Paul Pogba’s relationship with Mourinho is strained. Pogba was upset with Mourinho’s assessment of his performances during the World Cup’. Pogba also is believed to be open to the move.

Our assessment-Will Pogba Leave this Summer?

Manchester United have rejected the offer for Barcelona. They want to keep Pogba anyhow. United have decent financial stability, so they do not need to sell the World Cup star. So, it is highly unlikely that Pogba departs this summer. Next summer, yes, a transfer is very much possible unless the Red Devils offer a lucrative deal like Alexis Sanchez, who earns 500k per week. Spanish outlet Catradio has said: ‘Barcelona signing Pogba this summer is impossible’, which is true.
