#2. Archer vs ABD-
Jofra Archer delivered a stunning spell against CSK the other night and this must have sent his confidence soaring high. And now when lined up against AB de Villiers on Tuesday, he will fancy his chances.
However ABD is a a freak genius who loves to innovate and can take the attack to the opposition with his unique shots. What strategy will he deploy to counter Archer’s pace variations and his pin-point accuracy. And in the same way, what changes will Archer deploy to ensure he keeps ABD quiet?
#1. Chahal vs Buttler-
On one side is Rajasthan Royals’ best batsman and on the other side is RCB’s best bowler. This alone makes it the match-up of the day. The other day, SRH used Rashid Khan to neutralise Buttler. So will RCB use a similar ploy and bring on Chahal early in the innings? Or will they use Chahal against Buttler with the cushion of non-powerplay overs behind Chahal?
