3. The Hardik Pandya factor:

India’s premier all-rounder, Hardik Pandya is making a comeback with this year’s IPL. The selectors and Indian team management will closely watch him as the T20 World Cup is just a few months away.

Hence Pandya will be eager to make a statement and his heroics in the DY Patil Trophy tournament reflect the kind of form he is in. Pandya’s strong finishes in the death overs and his ability to pick wickets in any situation make a match-winner for Mumbai. So, watch out for him in this year’s IPL.

2. The Boom-Malinga combo:

Mumbai probably have the best T20 bowling combination in the form of Jasrpit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga. Both the bowlers are known for nailing their yorkers in the death overs and are extremely difficult to score against.

Having these two bowlers in the line-up offers Mumbai a cutting edge over other teams and if both of them come good then opposition has no chance to compete.

1.The strong think-tank:

Mumbai Indians have match-winners not only in their playing XI but also in their support staff.

The great Robin Singh is MI’s batting coach while the legendry Shane Bond is their bowling coach. They also have Zaheer Khan in their ranks while Sri Lankan batting maverick Mahela Jayawardene is the head coach.

The presence of all these stalwarts helps the young players to enhance their mental strength and this conditioning helps in handling a critical moment on the field.

The captain Rohit Sharma has a calm head and enough experience to tackle the tough moments. With such support staff, Mumbai Indians can surely lift the IPL trophy in 2020.
