IPL 2019: SRH Five Key Players to Watch

A bowling heavy team that brings the balance with its overseas super stars, Sunrisers Hyderabad are a strong contender for the IPL 2019.

There is no dearth of talent in this unit and it reflects in the accumulation of match-winners in their squad.

Here we take a look at Sunrisers Hyderabad five key players in IPL 2019.

#5. Vijay Shankar-

The all-rounder is at the peak of his powers currently and has successfully demonstrated his worth in the recent international games.

Shankar can be the X factor for SRH in this year’s IPL as his batting in the middle order provides the balance and he can double up as a handy part-time bowler.

#4. Kane Williamson-

Williamson has collected his runs in T20 cricket with grace and elegance which is contradictory to what this format generally sees. But even then he has managed to become one of the most prolific run scorers in T20s.

With Warner back at the top of the order, Williamson’s role will be to anchor the innings, a challenge he has always excelled at.

#3. Bhuvneshwar Kumar-

The Indian pacer has looked a bit rusty in his recent international appearances but that doesn’t make him a lesser threat.

His new ball bowling has always remained his strength and now he has added some sharp death bowling skills to it which makes him a match-winner.

And he can also be a handy batsman down the order which is an added bonus.

#2. Rashid Khan-

The Afghanistan leg spinner is Hyderabad’s key weapon in IPL 2019. The leg-spinner has bamboozled everyone with his accuracy and variations and he will be eager to replicate his heroics this season.

The presence of a strong pace bowling attack will ease Rashid’s work and he can focus on claiming crucial wickets in the middle overs.

#1. David Warner –

The run machine is back and he will have plenty of eyes following him. In the last few seasons Warner has emerged as a run machine in IPL and in 2019 he will be expected to do the same.
