The likes of Rohit, Pandya brothers, Cutting and Pollard have plenty of experience of T20 cricket and their batting can win the franchise games single-handedly. At the same time Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan are highly promising talents. And now the team has added de Kock and Yuvraj to the squad which makes them even more strong and powerful.

However the key for Mumbai will be to strike the perfect balance in the batting order and ensure they have men for all situations.

Meanwhile Malinga is back in the team and he can form a sensational collaboration with Jasprit Bumrah to emerge as a maverick death bowling duo.

Mumbai Indians: Weakness

The problem for Mumbai has remained the same throughout the years- The inability to rise to the occasion despite being strong unit. The fitness of Hardik Pandya can be a issue while Pollard has had some average performances in the recent seasons.

The spin department is a massive concern as except for Krunal there isn’t much experience in the squad. On spinning tracks Mumbai may find it difficult to have two frontline spinners who can tie the opposition.
