The IPL 2018 will kickstart in a few days and the cricket tournament has already created a lot of buzz. The tournament will be played on nine grounds and each of these grounds will serve as a home ground for every team.

Listed below are the details of IPL 2018 venues.

Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore-

The Chinnaswamy Stadium is the home ground for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Known for its shorter boundaries, this stadium is famous for big scores and raining sixes.

This time too, the stadium will host seven home matches of RCB and the red army is sure to show their support to the home team.

Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, Delhi-

Home ground for Delhi Daredevils, Feroz Shah Kotla has been home to several historic moments including Kumble’s ten-wicket haul.

This stadium has a unique architecture and was established in 1883.

Rajiv Gandhi Intl. Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad –

This stadium is the home ground for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Established in 2003, this stadium has a special gate named after VVS Laxman, the local boy who is regarded as one of India’s finest cricketers.

Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore-

The Holkar stadium was established in 1990, but it came to limelight after becoming the home ground for Kings XI Punjab.

Punjab is set to play their first three home games in IPL 2018 at this venue.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Rajasthan-

At one point, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium was known as the fortress for Rajasthan Royals as they had an impeccable record at this venue.

This year, Royals will play their seven home games at this venue and will look to bring back their glorious days.

Eden Gardens, Kolkata-

India’s most iconic cricket stadium and popularly known as the mecca of Indian cricket, the Eden Gardens is symbol of India’s rising strength in cricket.

This is Kolkata Knight Riders’ home ground and it is historically known to bring together a massive number of cricket fans together.

IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali-

The cricket ground with the most number of flood-lights, Mohali stadium is the home ground of Kings XI Punjab.

The stadium will host four home matches of Kings XI.

Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai-

One of the most popular cricket stadiums in India, Wankhede stadium is situated next to the Arabian Sea and has a stunning atmosphere.

This is Mumbai Indians’ home ground and the ground atmosphere certainly goes berserk as the men in blue take the field.

Wankhede Stadium will also host the finals of IPL 2018.

A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai-

One of the loudest stadiums in IPL, M. A. Chidambaram Stadium always creates plenty of noise courtesy of the loyal Chennai fans.

This home ground of Chennai Super Kings will host CSK’s seven home games and could also host one of the qualifier matches.
