DC vs KKR IPL 2019: Three key player battle to watch

Delhi Capitals will take on Kolkata Knight Riders on March 30 in IPL 2019 at Feroz Shah Kotla ground. KKR have won both their matches in IPL season 12 so far and are looking in ominous touch. On the other hand, Delhi have shown some sparks but the team needs to fire as a unit.

There are plenty of exciting players in this match and we will be looking at the three key player battles in this DC vs KKR match in IPL 2019.

Table of Contents

#3. Rabada vs Narine-

Sunil Narine has established himself as a reliable pinch-hitter. His all-out aggression at the top gives KKR flying starts and allows them to gather crucial quick runs in Powerplay overs.

Narine has no fear of getting out and this makes him play outrageous shots against all bowling attacks. However he has a flaw against pace bowlers.

The KKR batsman has a history of getting troubled by short pitch bowling by pacers and this is something DC can take advantage of.

The extra pace of Kagiso Rabada can be a critical against Narine.

#2. Mishra vs Russell-

Andre Russell has played two match turning innings in two games he has played in IPL so far and in this match, he will be the biggest threat for Delhi.

Can Amit Mishra weave his spin magic and catch Russell unaware? It is certain that Russell will go after Mishra and this will be an exciting challenge for the leggie.

#1. Kuldeep vs Pant-

Rishabh Pant is Delhi’s ace weapon. The team needs him to fire to ensure they have a flourish in the death overs.

Pant is in good touch in IPL and has a habit of taking on spinners. Importantly he reads the variations quickly. But can he decipher the Kuldeep code?

The wrist-spinner has troubled batsmen with his wrong ones and he can be expected to do the same against Pant.
