If anyone ever wondered where did the whole rock and roll genre come from as back in the days there was nothing more than classical music and country songs, then they need not look further for it was none other than Elvis Presley during the 50s who didn’t go by the book and changed the rules by his swinging hip and his Blues songs, a song sung mostly by the African American communities of that time. He rose to fame when he began singing in Live Shows where the crowd mostly youths enjoyed this new style that he had brought with him and followed him word to word when he would sing “You aint nothing but a hound dog.  On March 1958, Elvis was drafted into the military, thousands of fans thronged the streets to catch a glimpse of the superstar as he descended from the bus. Along with movies Elvis also starred in several movies some of which became an instant hit like his debut movie “Love me Tender” and “Jailhouse Rock”.

In the year 1977, due to constant health deterioration Elvis Presley Passed away. The cause of his death is still unconfirmed. Some believe it to be the effect of CDI, while others claim it to be a sudden violent heart attack.

Elvis has won 3 Grammys, 3 Laurel Awards and has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
