Las Vegas shooting – more than 50 dead and 200 injured

On Sunday night in a mass shooting at a Las Vegas music festival, more than 50 dead and 200 injured. Two off-duty police officials were among the dead later than a gunman opened fire on mass at the Route 91 Harvest country music show on the Nevada’s city’s famed strip.

Dozens of police vehicles move down on the strip after the system received reports of an active gunman.

Las Vegas police force later killed a suspect on the 32nd floor of a hotel next to the show. They supposed they did not consider there were any other attackers. Thousands of populace fled following the “lone wolf” shooter sprayed bullets at a crowd enjoying country star Jason Aldean.

Festival-goers account seeing muzzle flashes from the higher floors of the Mandalay Bay Hotel plus Casino, crosswise Las Vegas Boulevard from the music festival. They heard the echo of what they portray as automatic gunfire.

A woman who was present in the concert with her husband told media that “Everyone was lying on top of each other. All we’re trying to get out of the way and the gunshots just kept coming.

She continued “When we got downward, there was a man shot right there. One of my friends helped him out. They got him out, and we ran, and everyone is hiding all over. They were hiding in the bleachers, and the stanchions, and wherever they could.”

She added “And everybody is telling us to sprint, ‘run as fast as you can. My husband and I ran out towards our car, and people were hiding under my car for cover. There was a man who was shot, and he alleged ‘can you assist me’? So I place him in my car. I had, nearly, six people in my car”.

Sheriff Joseph Lombardo of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the suspect was a Las Vegas guy who acted unaccompanied. However, authorities were looking for an Asian female roommate of the suspect as an individual of interest.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department supposed Marilou Danley was “sought for perplexed” over the shooting and advises anyone who saw her call 911.

Police was also gazing for two vehicles. Two off-duty officers who were attending the show in Las Vegas,  are thought to have died. One more off-duty officer was in critical condition, and an additional was wounded. Aldean confirmed he and his team were secure and state that the shooting as “beyond horrific”.
