White House Next Target, After Trump’s Bomb Threat

In response to President Donald Donald Trump’s warning and threats Iranian MP Abolfazl Abutorabi says that they could attack White House itself in Tehran’s emergency open session on Sunday.

This statement comes two days after the US assassination of Qassem Soleimani who was the architect of Tehran’s overseas clandestine operations as head of the Revolutionary Quds Force on Friday in a US drone strike that attacked his convoy at Baghdad airport. On Saturday, Major General Hossein Salami, Revolutionary Guards Commander also promised a “strategic revenge” for the same.

On Saturday, Revolutionary Guards Commander, General Gholamali Abuhamzeh said that at least 35 US targets that included warships in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and Tel Aviv were identified for retaliation attacks long back. Later that day, in the holy city of Qom blood-red flags of vengeance were unleashed in Jamkaran Mosque claiming to take revenge for Soleimani’s death.

Donald Trump further in response, threatens to attack 52 civilian targets if Iran tries to retaliate for the US assassination of Soleimani. Trump’s threat was referring to the Iran hostage crisis of 1979-1981 where 52 US citizens and diplomats were held in a hostage situation by student revolutionaries in Iran.

Soleimani’s Funeral March

Donald Trump gets labelled as a monster because of committing several war crimes after promising quick retribution at high-level targets whom he claimed were important to Iranian culture. There were several massive funeral marches for Soleimani and ongoing protests that burnt American and Israeli flags. On the other hand, the Iranian parliament opens with the chant “death to America.” Here MP Abutorabi says that White House can be attacked and also claimed to respond to the USA in American soil by not responding to bullets with flowers.

While Iraq also holds an emergency session in pressure to remove thousands of US troops who were deployed there to prevent ISIS. However, Iraqi militancy group Hezbollah asked Iraqi soldiers to be at least 1000 metres away from US military bases after Sunday.
