Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has claimed that the worst phase of Corona will be over now and India will be in a position to give vaccines to its citizens in any week of January. The Health Minister says that India is not behind any country in the case of the vaccine. Vaccination can start in the initial month of the new year.

In an interview to news agency ANI, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said, “A few months ago there were 10 lakh active cases of coronavirus in the country, now there are about 3 lakh active cases in the country. Out of one crore cases of coronavirus, more than 95 lakh cases have been recovered. Our recovery rate is one of the highest in the world. I think that the difficulties we have gone through are now moving towards ending. Being such a big country, compared to other big countries of the world India is in a better position. ”

Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said, “The Government of India has been preparing for vaccination at the state, district and block levels in collaboration with the state governments for the last four months. Among the 30 crore people who will be given the vaccine first, 1 crore health workers, 2 crores front line workers, 26 crore people over 50 years of age and about one crore people under 50 years of age who have been infected by a coronavirus. ”

In response to this question, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that polio was such a disease, the existence of which was possible to eradicate science. He said, ‘So far, only two types of viruses in the world have ended. Corona is similar to other diseases. We have to always be ready in every way to fight Corona.

A total of 8 vaccine trials are going on in India at this time. All these trials are in different stages. Some are on the advanced stage, while some are in the last phase. The vaccine trial of ‘Covaxin’ is underway in the third phase, being made by Bharat Biotech International Limited and ICMR. Bharat Biotech International Limited which is conducting the trials and manufacturing it has sought permission from Emergency Use Authorization from DCGI.
