The significant decline in the number of coronavirus patients in the country after six months

Corona, which has been sweeping the globe for the past few months, has also raised concerns in India. The country is trying to overcome the Covid-19 crisis where we see the new strain of coronavirus entered the country.

The number of new coronavirus cases was daily increasing by 70,000 to 80,000, whereas now the rate of rising in new Covid-19 cases has been slowly declining in the last few days. Therefore, this decline in new cases is a great relief to everyone. According to a report published by ANI, less than 19,000 patients have been found in the country after six months. For the seventh day in a row, the number of newly infected coronavirus patients has dropped to less than 25,000.

In the last 24 hours, 18,732 people in the country have been found infected with the coronavirus. So far, 297 people have lost their lives. The total number of patients recovered from coronavirus in the country has reached to 97,61,538. In the last 24 hours, it has been observed that the number of patients recovered is slightly higher than that of new patients at 21,430. So far, 1,01,87,850 people in India have been infected with the coronavirus.

About 17 crore Covid-19 tests …

According to ICMR, as many as 168 million tests were carried out of the Covid-19 till December 26. Of which, 9 lakh test samples were collected on Saturday. Currently, there are less than 20,000 active patients of coronavirus in 33 states and union territories of the country. Maharashtra and Kerala have 40 per cent of the coronavirus patients in the country.

Mortality rate and patient recovery rate

Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala have the highest case of Covid-19. It is learned that about 52 per cent of the patients recover from these states. The death rate of Covid-19 patients in the country has also come down to 1.45. So, the proportion of active patients has reached 3 per cent.
