Loneliness and alone are two different words that are used as synonyms but they are the two different situations. In both conditions no one is with the person. But when he enjoys the situation then the word ‘alone’ is used while when you don’t like to remain alone then it is loneliness.
Lack of connectivity
Loneliness is a situation when you think ‘no one loves you’ and you are alone and no one is there with you, no one understands you and so on. It’s because of Lack of Connectivity. You think of yourself as a different individual but you need to understand that everyone is connected with each other and there is life outside your imagination.
Generally, we confine and then think no one is there for us.
Lack of Solitude
When someone is unable to stay alone and enjoy being with themselves then it is solitude but when a person is unable to sit alone without getting distracted then we often feel lonely.
Distraction
Our life is full of distractions. Every minute we get distracted. We can be alone physically but not virtually. There was a time when people used to stay alone without technology but now, real life connection is missing. People like texting rather than calling or meeting in person.
Negative thoughts
A person becomes what they think about themselves and others because we are the one who complicates everything. So, whenever we see any situation, we get two options – either to see it as a positive or negative aspect. Most of the time, we aren’t even aware of our thoughts due to which we end up being lonely.
Fear of being alone
Fear often confines us and doesn’t let us do what we want to do. There is nothing like ‘fear’. It’s our lack of control over our mind which creates fear.
Not at peace with ourselves
When we are not peaceful alone then we try to find someone else and when we aren’t even able to escape ourselves then we feel lonely. Why can’t we stay happy and alone?
Why do we need someone to love us? Why aren’t we sufficient to love and to be peaceful?
