Diet is what you consume. A balanced diet plays a very vital role in the way you behave and how healthy a person is. The word “diet” is the most misused and misunderstood by the people. They think diet is something for weight loss but they need to understand that it is not for weight loss but their diet is something they eat for the rest of their life.
Diet should be as colorful as you are
Life is a full package of happiness, sadness, and various other feelings. In total life is full of colours. So, the food which you eat should be colorful. It doesn’t mean that you need to add artificial food colour. But it means it should be simple and healthy, including various vegetables. For instance – Prepare mixed veg and see the colours in it. The carrot, paneer, broccoli, beans and so on (depends on what you add) have their own colour and make the dish very attractive. So, does it mean you have to eat mixed vegetables every time? No, all you need to do is add vegetables and make it decorative with veggies.
Cook less but fresh
One should include fresh food in their diet. Avoid using packaged food. It’s quite difficult to avoid all oily, packaged, junk foods because we build the taste of it but we can minimize it or make it something for rewards. For instance – if you do something good or as per your plan then go eat something junk. This will be a double reward for you. You want to know how? Initially, when you give yourself a reward it won’t be on a regular basis which means you’ll eat less junk food and when you’ll eat less, you can avoid eating it. So, isn’t it a duo?
One more thing, try not to refrigerate your food. Cook as much as you want to eat.
