Do we misunderstand the word ‘rich’?

What do you understand about the word ‘rich’? Let’s take a hypothetical situation – There are two brothers in a family. One is living in a bungalow and another lives with parents in a slum area and hardly manages their living. Here who is rich?

The answer need not be in the context of economics. One can’t determine who is rich by money measurements.

Money is a piece of paper authorised by the competent authority to use it for buying and selling purposes. We all know the definition of money. Isn’t it only a sphere, no doubt it is a very important part of life. But it is not your life. Right?

A person can become rich if they have money, kindness, morality and various other ethical values. The person having money might be poor and the person below the poverty line might be rich.

Now, why do we need to use the right term! Isn’t it enough to know? Obviously not, you need to understand and use the term appropriately because the words have the power to change life. So, one needs to understand the power and value of ethical and moral values rather than just ‘money’. Focus on all spheres of life.
