Sachin Tendulkar has collaborated with an NGO called Ekam Foundation that ensures proper health care to the underprivileged children. Recently the former cricketer has aided financial services to 100 children across six states- West Bengal, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharastra. Ekam Foundation is set up to assure proper medical treatment to the children in the government and trust hospitals who cannot bear their expenses for the cure.

He recently assisted pediatric treatment in Makunda hospital, situated in Assam, which benefited over 2000 people and took part in an event held by UNICEF on the occasion of World Children’s Day for molding children’s future.
