Lockdown 5.0:  MP extends lockdown 4.0 till June 15

Lockdown extended till June 15 in Madhya Pradesh. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced the extension of the lockdown on Saturday. All the schools and colleges will be opened in the state but the last decision will be taken after June 13. The lockdown has been extended by keeping in mind the risk of coronavirus.

 

This decision was taken after the confirmed cases have risen to 7,891. In the last 24 hours, 246 positive cases have been recorded. The death toll in the state has reached to 343 while 4444 patients have been cured. 3,104 active cases are still there in the state.

 

GAME ACTIVITIES WILL RESUME FROM JUNE 1

All the districts are in green zone except Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Burhanpur, Khargon, Khandva, and Badvaani. The market places will be open in all places with certain terms and conditions. All the game-related activities will be resumed from June 1.

On the other hand, Sagar district is now a hotspot of the state. 24 new cases have been reported on Friday in this district. Total 165 positives have been found till date and 8 have died due to the virus.

 

CAN NOT MEET PRISONERS TILL JUNE 30

The restriction is continued of not meeting the prisoner till June 30 to prevent the spread of the disease. The jail authorities said in the order that the friends and family members cannot meet the prisoners. This decision was taken by keeping in mind the health of both prisoners and family members of prisoners.

 

Morena:  4 new cases found including a 3-year-old.

Morena district has recorded 4 new cases including a 3-year-old kid. All the people tested positive has come from Delhi. The total number has reached 32 in the district.

Sheopur: 1 dead in Gwalior Medical College

On Saturday morning, 56-year-old Satyanarayan Sharma died during the treatment of COVID-19. 3 days ago he was referred to Gwalior from Sheopur district hospital.

JABALPUR: 2 new cases recorded; toll reached 235

2 reports were found positive out of 23 samples. The toll has reached 235 including Saturday’s cases. 5 patients recovered and went to their home on Saturday. Out of 235, 176 have overcome this disease whereas 9 died. As of now, there are 50 active cases in the city.

VIDISHA: 5 new cases; 25 total cases; 16 recovered; only 19 active cases

JAWAD: 112 total cases

UMMEDPURA: 18 total cases
