Navjot Singh Sidhu states Amarinder-Trudeau meet will transform Punjab

Today, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Punjab cabinet minister says that meeting amid Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau and Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has the perspective to transform the state.

Trudeau visit to India came up with numerous controversies, generally of his government’s hold up top pro-Khalistan groups. Today following the Mumbai visit Trudeau landed to Punjab . He was welcomed by Navjot Sigh Sidhu along with Hardeep Singh at the airport. He would be planned to visit Golden Temple with his family. Punjab preparations are on a high note, and the security blanket has been placed in and around Amritsar.

PM Justin Trudeau will attend langar at Golden Temple which is the community kitchen there. A special gift has been crafted by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee for Canadian PM. It is a 24-carat gold plated portrait of the shrine along with gold plated Siri Sahib which is a small inch sword of six-inch as well a shawl. As per the sources, Earlier Justin Trudeau asked local authorities to let him and his family to enjoy the spirituality of the place.

Justin Trudeau is currently on a visit to India and on Monday CM Amarinder Singh confirmed in his tweet that he would meet him today. In his tweet, he also expected that the ‘ meeting with Justin Trudeau would strengthen the close Indo Canadian relations. It will also deep-rooted people to people relations .’

Punjab cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu alleged that ‘this twenty minute meet amid Canadian PM Justin Trudeau as well as CM Amarinder Sigh would definitely take Punjab 20 years ahead. Hopefully, this visit with also strengthens ties amid India and Canada. It is a mutual symbiosis which can change both the countries.’

Previously CM Amarinder Singh had supposed that as he had no problem in meeting Canadian PM Justin Trudeau. Though there are several ministers in his the cabinet with whom he would not meet.  As they have ‘negative views concerning Punjab.’ But after few days CM Amarinder Singh welcomed Canadian PM . He supposed that he would be pleased to welcome Justin and hold meaningful talks with him.

The Punjab Chief Minister had changed his thinking following the reports. Reports state that two Sikh ministers in the Justin Trudeau’s cabinet had detached themselves from Khalistani separatists.
