COVID -19 India Death Update: 426 dead in 1 day

The death toll of country due Coronavirus is now 13,703. The virus claimed the lives of 426 patients in 1 day. On Sunday, the number of lives lost in Maharashtra is 426, lives lost in Delhi are 63; lives lost in Tamil Nadu are 53 and lives lost in Gujarat are 25. The total number of deaths in the country’s capital is 2,175 whereas the death toll in Maharashtra is now 6,170.

 

Before this, Madhya Pradesh was the seventh state where the death toll crossed 500. 6 patients took their last breath on Sunday. With this, the total number of deaths in the state is 501.

Deaths in various states on Saturday

377 patients took their last breath in 17 states including 22 in Uttar Pradesh; 20 in Gujarat; 11 in West Bengal; 9 in Karnataka; 6 in Jammu & Kashmir, 6 in Punjab; 5 in Telangana; 5 in Haryana; 5 in Andhra Pradesh and 4 in Rajasthan. On Friday, 365 patients took their last breath.
