This card will become invalid when the child is above 5 years of age. The child’s biometric or Irish scan will not be done in the child Aadhaar card, because in young children, biometric development is not done. Documents of the child’s parents will be replaced instead. Applicants for the child’s Aadhaar card must be residents in India and must be under 5 years of age.

How to book an appointment?
First of all, the applicant has to visit the official website of UIDAI. Here, click on ‘Book an appointment from ‘Get AAdhaar’ on the home page. After opening the page, you have to select your state, district, and Aadhaar center and book your appointment. After this, you have to book the date of appointment by entering your mobile number and entering OTP.
How to Apply?
For this, you will have to take your own and your child’s documents to your nearest Aadhaar center. Here you have to fill the registration form. In this form, you will have to give the child’s name, parents’ Aadhaar number, and other information. Now you have to give the birth certificate of the child and the Aadhaar number of one of the parents to the center. To get a child Aadhaar card, get your mobile number entered and give a photo of the child. You will receive the child’s Aadhaar number within 60 to 90 days after the confirmation from the SMS. There is no fee to make a child Aadhaar card.
