There is a good chance that fans might be able to finally witness a fight between two of Hollywood’s and partly Japan’s biggest monsters, King Kong and Godzilla.
Thomas Tull of Legendary Pictures has been reported to move the sets of KONG, SKULL ISLAND from Universal to Warner Bros Studios. The reason behind this was to unite the property with Legendary Pictures’ very own monster Godzilla. This is a very positive sign towards making a movie where these two monsters finally battle for the ultimate supremacy.
The deal is not finalised yet but it is going on a steady and quick pace. KONG, SKULL ISLAND a reboot version of the last KING KONG movie is set to release on 10 March 2017 whereas the sequel to GODZILLA is set to release on 8 June 2018.
The manner in which these two mega monster movies will be released will add up to a perfect timing for a perfect match.
The Japanese were the first ones to make a movie based on this back in 1962.
So whose side are you on? King Kong or Godzilla?
