Total 150 new cases have discovered with the infection of New Coronavirus strain found in Britain

In the India 150 cases were reported of the new coronavirus strain. Whereas the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has officially made clear that the new strain is more deadly.

The new coronavirus strain found in Britain has increased the number of people infected in the India to 150. The Union Health Ministry gave this information on Saturday. The concerned government had earlier said in its statement that people infected with the new strain of Corona have been kept in isolation in separate rooms in designated health centres by the respective state governments. Not only this, but people exposed to infected have also been kept in isolation. A campaign has been launched to locate the co-passengers, family members and other people who came in contact.

The new strain is not only very contagious but also harmful

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has officially made it clear that preliminary studies have found that new strains of Covid-19 more contagious as well as more deadly or even fatal. 

The new strain of Covid-19 found in Britain has also been found in many countries. These countries include Denmark, Netherlands, Australia, Italy, Sweden, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Japan, Lebanon and Singapore. All this is when such infected people are under intense scrutiny and careful surveillance.

14,256 new cases a day in the country

There have been 14,256 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours in the country with the number of infected persons has increased to 1,06,39,684. However, 1,03,00,838 of these people have recovered. At present, the recovery rate of patients has increased to 96.81 per cent.

152 people died in 24 hours

Presently 1,85,662 infected people are undergoing treatment in the country. This number is 1.78 percent of the total cases. At the same time, 152 people have died due to infection in the last 24 hours, with the death toll from the epidemic has increased to 1,53,184. Currently, the death rate from the corona is 1.44 percent.

So far 19,09,85,119 samples examined

A total of 19,09,85,119 samples of Covid-19 have been tested so far in the country. Of the 152 infected people deceased in the last 24 hours, the maximum number of deceased people are from Maharashtra that is 50, while 19 from Kerala, eight each from West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh and seven each from Tamil Nadu and Delhi. According to the Union Health Ministry, more than 70 per cent of those who have died due to the infection were also suffering from some other serious disease.
