PM Justin Trudeau snubbed on his tour to India as per Canadian columnist
PM Justin Trudeau is on tour to India, but Canadian considers that as is openly stubbing him because of his alleged support for Sikh separatists in Canada.
A columnist for Canadian publication Candice Malcolm pointed this .he made a contrast amid Justin Trudeau and welcome of other heads of the state regarding the warm welcome given to them. PM Narendra Modi prior month received his good friend Benjamin Netanyahu to the airport. Similarly, he also received Barack Obama when he came to India for Republic day celebrations in 2015. However, no such welcome was given to Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.
PM Justin Trudeau, who accompanied by Sophie, his wife as well as his two children. The receiving minister was Ganjendra Singh, MoS Agriculture. This time Sushma Swaraj, as well as PM Narendra Modi, have not tweeted any welcome message too for Canadian PM.
The main reason behind this is recognized as the apparent support which was given by him and his government to pro-Khalistan voices in Canada. The absence of ceremony and pomp is the clear sign of discontent with PM Trudeau. As he has about four Sikh cabinet ministers namely Amarjeet Sohi, Navdeep Bains, Harjit Sajjan and Bardish Chagger. Earlier Sohi supposed that he neither concerned or else against the Khalistan movement.
Sohi alleged that ‘if a small part of Canada’s population talks regarding separation. They converse regarding the creation of Khalistan, but if they do it in a peaceful way, then that is their right. However, this is not an issue that I came to listen to in the community.’
This is the first visit of Justin Trudeau to India after becoming the Prime Minister of Canada. He is in India for the eight-day visit all along with his family. On Sunday he visited Taj Mahal, and after that, he visited elephant conservation centre which is in Mathura. He will be holding bilateral talks with PM Narendra Modi on Friday, i.e. 23rd of February in Delhi. The entire tour of PM Trudeau comprises the visit to cultural centres, along with business as well as political meetings.
Yesterday also when Justin Trusade visited Taj Mahal, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also mission from the spot as he rolled out the red carpet prior month for Netanyahu.
