The government appeals to the people about Christmas
Because of the Coronavirus crisis, State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has requested people to celebrate the Christmas festival in a simple way. According to the guidelines issued by the government, the maximum 50 people should be present in the church on the occasion of Christmas.
Night curfew (from 11 am to 6 am) has been imposed with certain guidelines from 22 December to 5 January in many areas of Maharashtra including Pune.
What will be allowed during the night curfew?
All types of emergency services will be allowed during the night curfew. There will be no restriction on the supply of essential things like vegetables, milk and medicines. More than five people should not be present in one place between 11 am and 6 am.
Which things will not be allowed?
All markets and shops except medical stores will be closed at 11 pm.
All types of traffic except emergency will also be banned.
