Indian Railway News: Vande Bharat Express will be replaced by Tejas Express from 15 February for about 45 days

In the semi high speed train, Vande Bharat Train made in India, the railway is going to make a change from 15 February. Piyush Goyal has given this important information by tweeting. He tweeted that Instead of Vande Bharat Express going from New Delhi to Varanasi Tejas Express will be running on the route from 15 February to 31 March. With this, thousands of travellers going from New Delhi to Uttar Pradesh will enjoy a comfortable journey as well as make their journey quite convenient.

When did Vande Bharat start for the first time?

The semi high speed train made in India was introduced by PM Modi as the next generation of new transport. It first hit the track in 2019, after which it was widely discussed in the media. Its new design and attractive feature caught everyone’s attention.

Why the change is happening?

The Vande Bharat, one of the premium trains of India, is being sent for maintenance in India. For this reason, it will not run from 15 February to 31 March. At this place, passengers will be given the facility of Tejas, which is included in another premium train. However, the Railways has made it clear that passengers travelling from New Delhi to Varanasi will not have to pay any extra fare. But the facility of Vande Bharat will be off for about 45 days. 

Routes of Tejas Express are

Indian Railways is currently operating four pairs of trains under Tejas Express services, which was started three years ago. Two of these, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Karmali Tejas Express and Chennai Egmore-Madurai Junction Tejas Express are run by Indian Railways.
