The average growth rating of Corona Patients rises at a doubling rate of 9.1 per cent in the Country. But from Friday 8 am to Saturday 8 am India registered only 6 per cent of the growth rate of the virus in the country and crossed 100 cases approx said by the health ministry.
On Saturday under the chairpersonship of Union health minister Harsh Vardhan, the 13th meeting of the High-level Group of Ministers (GoM) on Coronavirus was held.
According to The ministry The Group of Ministers acknowledge on state-wise information regarding Covid-19 hospitals, along with the availability of isolation beds and wards, PPE kits, N95 masks, drugs, ventilators and oxygen cylinders among everyone.
The Group of Minister also told that the domestic manufactures already started manufacturing PPE kits and N95 masks and that too in an adequate quantity of the same was available.
Till now more than one lakh PPE kits and N95 masks are produced daily in the country. Currently, there are 104 domestic manufactures of PPE and out of which three are manufacturing N95 masks in the country said by the ministry in a statement.
Additionally, the production of ventilators is started by domestic manufactures and more than 59,000 units have been placed for orders.
He further said that The death rate is around 3.1 per cent whereas the recovery rate is more than 20 per cent in comparison which is far better than other countries and this is possible because of nation lockdown. The effect of lockdown was positive in the country, along with the cluster management and containment strategy.
The cases have an average doubling rate of the country is 9.1 days.
As of now, 5,062 people have been discharged which rise the recovery rate by 20.66 per cent. Since an increase of 1,429 cases has been reported, the ministry said on Friday.
The death toll rose to 775 and the number of cases climbed to 24,506 in the country on Saturday from Covid-19 according to the ministry.
