Covid vaccination process is at rapid pace in the country

While the cases of Covid-19 are increasing in India, Covid vaccination also taking place at a pace. So far, 11 crore Covid vaccine doses have been given in India. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 11,11,79,578 Covid vaccine doses have been given in India so far. Which includes the first and second doses. So far 7,81,16,798 people above 45 years of age have been given the first dose and 32,85,819 people have been given the second dose. 

On April 13, the 13th day of the vaccination campaign, 26,46,528 vaccine doses were given. Of which 22,58,910 people have been given the first dose and 3,87,618 people have been given the second dose of the Covid vaccine.

In the vaccinati on held on April 13-

The first dose has been given to 15,069 healthcare and 57,872 frontline workers.

The second dose has been given to 22,969 healthcare and 91,561 frontline workers. 

14,32,269 people over 45 years of age were given the first dose and 58,681 people were given the second dose. 

7,53,700 people over 60 years of age and 2,14,407 people have been given the second dose of the Covid vaccine. 

So far 90,48,686 healthcare and 1,01,36,430 frontline workers have been given the first dose of vaccine in India. 55,81,072 healthcare and 50,10,773 frontline workers have been given the second dose of the Covid vaccine. At the same time, the first dose has been given to 3,56,50,444 people between the age of 45 and 60 years and the second dose to 8,18,335. Apart from this, the first dose of 24,67,484 Covid vaccine has been given to 4,24,66,354 people above 60 years of age.
