After the first dose of Covid vaccine the risk of infection decreases

Even after taking the Covid vaccine, there were many such cases from all over the world when those people were caught in the epidemic. In such a situation, the question arises that how effective is the corona vaccine. A new study in Britain says that the risk of infection is reduced by about 65 percent only after the first dose of the Oxford / AstraZeneca or Pfizer / BioNtech vaccines currently being administered in the country.

Although two studies conducted by the University of Oxford and the Office of National Statistics (ONS) have not yet been published, both found in their study that one in two doses of vaccines also caused infections among the elderly, young, and healthy people. The danger has been reduced considerably. There are two doses of vaccines, the second dose is given 28 days after the first dose.

With the findings of these researchers, there seems to be a decrease in the number of hospitalists and those who die due to infection due to Covid-19 after vaccination. However, researchers have cautioned that a person can become infected even after being vaccinated and can spread this deadly virus after being infected without symptoms. For this reason, there is a dire need to apply masks and maintain a distance of two yards.

Researchers analyzed investigative reports of 350,000 people in the UK between September 2020 and April 2021 and found that coronavirus infection decreased in 21 days after the first dose of the vaccine. After vaccination, it takes 21 days for the human body to develop immunity against the coronavirus.

The study says, “Those 21 days after the first dose of the vaccine have reduced the risk of coronavirus infection by 65 percent for people who have not been vaccinated.” In the second dose, the risk decreased further (from 70 to 77 percent). There is no evidence that there is a difference in the benefits from vaccines of both Oxford / AstraZeneca or Pfizer / BioNtech companies. ”

In a study conducted with large-scale community surveillance, the researchers concluded that one dose of Oxford / AstraZeneca or Pfizer / BioNtech vaccines or two doses of Pfizer / BioNtech significantly reduced the risk of Covid-19.
