Anger, chaos and grief have engulfed Bangladesh as four students have been murdered, four girls raped and many more were severely injured. Amidst mass outrage, it is being rumoured that Facebook will be shut down in the country to thwart any potential violent protest.
On 29th of July, 2018 school students were killed by a reckless bus driver. The students protested with slogans on the same bus stand demanding punishment. Peaceful protest it was. Students all over Bangladesh were protesting for safer roads and more strict regulations on roads.
As per neutrals, ”Their intention was never to harm even a single person. Neither it is now.’
But on today, 4th August, as per umpteen Bangladeshi people, ‘the Bangladesh Police and members of ”CHATRA LEAGUE” (Student Wing of the ruling Party of Bangladesh ”Awami League”) tortured students with tear shell and beat the protesting students brutally and raped the female students.
”The protesting students were trying to defend themselves with sticks and tree branches that they’ve found on the streets.”- according to eyewitnesses.
4 students have been murdered and other 4 female students have been raped, many more have been injured severely, as per sources, while the Bangladesh Government maintained silence.

”1 boy had his eye gouged out.
15 young students are badly injured.
3 girls of DCC are missing and 4 are shot dead near the science lab.
A group of BCL are attacking girls at City College.
4 girls have been raped at Jhigatola, killed and thrown away at a lake.
A small group of girls from Badrunnesa college got stuck by a group of almost 50 people of BCL at Shaheed Minar.
Girls are also being raped at Awami Leauge office near Dhanmondi.
A group of VNSC girls got stuck at an office as the BCL was trying to break in.”
