JP Nadda convoy was attacked with stone in Bengal

BJP national president JP Nadda is on a two-day visit in Bengal for the upcoming West Bengal assembly election. He convoy was hurled with stones on his way to Diamond Harbour in West Bengal.

In view of the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda is in Kolkata on a two-day visit. Here he is participating in many political programs. JP Nadda’s convoy was allegedly attacked by stones on his way to Diamond Harbor. In this attack, the car of BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya was also hurled by stone.

After this attack, Kailash Vijayvargiya said, “I have been injured in this attack. The party president’s car was also attacked. We strongly condemn this. The goons attacked us in the presence of the police. It felt like we were not in our own country. The protesters pelted stones at the vehicle of BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya at Diamond Harbor as he was going to South 24 Parganas. The protesters also tried to block the road from where BJP President JP Nadda’s convoy was passing.”

This morning, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote a letter in which he was worried about the safety of JP Nadda. The party accused the West Bengal Police of being negligent in protecting the national president. The Home Ministry has sought answers from the West Bengal Police on the BJP’s allegations.

The supporters of Trinamool Congress tried to show BJP president JP Nadda black flags from outside the new election office of BJP in Harbour area of the city. BJP has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, making serious allegations on TMC.

In a letter written by Amit Shah, he said that there is the possibility of an attack on JP Nadda. The letter said, “BJP National President JP Nadda is in Kolkata on a two-day visit, but the Bengal Police’s attitude towards his safety is not right. They are being very careless. Outside the BJP office, a crowd of around 200 people were seen carrying sticks in their hands and showed black flags to our national leader.”
