Hotstar recently reported that Disney+ will be launched in India on 29 March. There is still some time for its launch but today before that Hotstar’s name and logo have changed. It has now changed to Disney + Hotstar. However, the company has not officially shared its information. But now a new logo is starting to show on the app and website. Previously Hotstar’s logo was green color, while now the phone e company has replaced green and now Disney + Hotstar is being shown in blue color. Users will see the Disney + Hotstar logo on Hotstar’s official website. With the new branding, Disney + Hotstar becomes available on both Android and iOS platforms.
Hotstar, one of the most popular online streaming services in India and now it is going to give a double dose of entertainment to Indian viewers from the upcoming 29th March. The special thing is that IPL 2020 is starting on 29th March at the same time they will get to enjoy IPL live matches as well as Disney +’s global shows and films.
On Hotstar, users will now get to see many new programs under the Disney catalog. These include films like Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Cars 3, Atlantis: The Lost Empire and A Bug’s Life, as well as Gravity Falls, Timon & Pumbaa, Disney The Lion Guard, Mickey Mouse (Shorts), Doc McStuffins, Tangled: The TV serials like Series, Aaron Stone, Jungle Junction and Sofia The First are also included. Along with it now users will be able to watch Disney + original programs on Disney + Hotstar. It includes Diary of a Future President: Season 1, Disney Family Sundays: Season 1, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings: Season 2, The Mandalorian: Season 1, Marvel’s Hero Project: Season 1 and many more.
Many of these new content will be available in these four languages Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu. Only VIP users will get this access to languages. While premium users can view this content only in the English language.
TechCrunch reported that Disney + content will be provided to users through premium subscriptions. However, the company has not yet revealed the price of Disney + Hotstar Premium’s combined subscription package. There are currently two types of premium packages available on ‘Hotstar’. These are named Hotstar VIP and Hotstar Premium. Let us know that the annual subscription pack of Hotstar VIP is Rs 365 and the annual rate of Hotstar Premium is Rs 999. So, Disney + Hotstar premium subscription rates are likely to be revealed in the coming days.
