For the safety of People Ola is going to deploy ‘Safety Scouts’ and ‘Quick Response Teams’ in on New Year’s Eve

Keeping in concern about the safety of all those party animals on New Year’s Eve, the ride-hailing unicorn startup Ola announced to deploy ‘Safety Scouts’ and ‘quick response teams’ across Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata.

Don’t spoil the fun by drinking and driving, for its customers, Ola has collaborated with the police in cities to support their on-ground efforts with major concern to provide safety and mobility support to citizens in high traffic areas and at major partying zones on New Year’s Eve.

Ola stated that the “Safety Scouts” comprise of both male and female personnel who are specially trained by the company to help provide safety and mobility support to citizens.

Dedicatedly keeping the safety of women as top priority ola is also going to attend any SOS calls through the help of its ‘quick response team’ cars in the city along with the help of onboard female police constables.

Additionally, ”Quick Response Teams” also includes medical assistance, and trained personnel to attend to any emergency situations through the night.

New Year’s Eve sees a large number of people going out for the night to celebrate, and through these efforts, we are encouraging people to take a safe ride back home,”- Arun Srinivas, Chief Sales, and Marketing Officer, Ola, said in a statement.

“We are proud to assist the efforts of the on-ground police forces and together, help citizens and consumers feel secure,” he added.
