Bihar Board BSEB 10th Result 2020: Scrutiny application process to begin tomorrow (May 29)

Bihar Board BSEB 10th Result 2020: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared on Wednesday that Board will accept online scrutiny applications of Bihar Board class 10 examination between May 29 and June 12. The Bihar matric results were declared on May 26, 2020, on official websites — onlinebseb.in, biharboardonline.com, and resultbseb.online at 12:30 pm.

The applicants will have to pay an online fee of INR 70 for each paper.

How to apply for scrutiny?

The students can follow the below steps for the scrutiny application process if they are not satisfied with the results:

Step 1: Visit the official website: biharboardonline.com.

Step 2: Click on the evaluation or apply for scrutiny link

Step 3: Enter roll number, roll code, and registration number.

Step 4: An application ID will be generated for login purpose

Step 3: Click on the subject by clicking on the boxes you wish to apply for scrutiny

Step 4: Click on the payment and submit

About 14,94,071 students had appeared for the Bihar Board 10th examination this year. Out of them, 12,04,030 students have passed in the exam with a pass percentage of 80.59%, according to BSEB. No press conference was held on the declaration of results this year. Himanshu Raj became the topper of this year’s matric exam with a score of 96.20 per cent.

About 2.89 lakh students have failed the exam. An additional 1,019 students will have to appear for the compartmental examination of which and 469 are male students and 550 are women. Last year, the Board declared the Bihar Board class 10 results on an early date, but due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, the results got delayed and therefore no press conference was held to ensure social distancing.

The Bihar Board Matric Results was declared by education minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma in the presence of Board chairman Anand Kishor and additional chief secretary of the education department, RK Mahajan.

The board had checked as many as 75 lakh for class 12 and 90 lakh answer scripts for class 10 exams.  Every answer script is attached with the photograph of the individual student along with a lithocode and barcode to prevent cheating or impersonation, the board chairperson informed.
