Jacqueline Fernandez is back in Mumbai to get ready for her upcoming film with Akshay Kumar. The actor just wrapped up her part in the horror-comedy Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, and Arjun Kapoor, which will soon make up to the screens. Jacqueline is lined up with interesting films that are on the 2021 list.

As reported by Mumbai Mirror, Jacqueline has signed Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey that also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead role. This is her fourth film with Akshay after Housefull 2, Housefull 3, and Brothers.
The film will make its release on the screens in January next year in Jaisalmer, and the makers have not given out the details of Jacqueline’s character in the film.
Kriti Sanon would be seen playing the role of a journalist who has always dreamt of being a filmmaker, while Akshay Kumar is playing a gangster who aspires to be an actor. The daily quoted a source close to the film as saying, “While Kriti Sanon plays a journalist who aspires to be a filmmaker, Jacqueline’s character is currently being kept under wraps.” Bachchan Pandey will be shot in a start-to-finish two months schedule from January 6 in Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, as said earlier, Jaqueline would immediately start with her next project, Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus with Ranveer Singh and has decided to give the entire month for this film. While talking about getting back to the film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the actor said, “I was very very new to the industry when I did the song ‘Dhanno‘ in Housefull for Nadiad (producer Sajid Nadiadwala). Our friendship goes way back to them and I am elated to be working with him again in Bachchan Pandey, our eighth film”
