The feel of a road trip cannot be seized in words. Imagine you are on open Jeep or Bullet and the wind is kissing you. isn’t it the superlative feeling? We have seen such scenes in many Bollywood movies and those movies inspired us to take road trips. And the list is here.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara– This movie undoubtedly tops this list. It is about a road trip in Spain and delightful friendships. It surely Stimulates you to take a crazy road trip with your hangout buddies. It excited us about sea-diving, enjoyable Tomatina festival and many incredible things.

Highway– This movie has a complete flavour of travel and unending journeys. In this movie, Bride-to-be is kidnapped, and that kidnapper takes her to the roads she has never seen before. The scenery and fantastic roads will make your journeying thirst more intense.

Jab We Met Do you remember Kareena Kapoor dancing to “Yeh Ishq Hai” from Jab We Met? I think, Yes. This movie not only inspires us to travel but also for the journey of life. A train journey starts from Mumbai and stops at Simla, Manali, Bhatinda. Each station of this journey and each character of this movie is so remarkably presented that we can’t control ourselves to go on such cool train journeys.

Piku – “Ham Chale baharon me, Gungunati Raho me “, the journey song from Piku is enough to inspire us to take a road trip. This movie is the road trip movie in which a father-daughter duo travels with the owner of the taxi company from Delhi to Kolkata. The highways, scenery, Landscapes make us want to travel.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge – The pioneer of road trip movies is DDLJ. The simple story of this film is, Kajol and SRK meet each other on the Euro trip and fall in love with each other after a short tour to Punjab. But the over-the-top landscapes and natural beauty of Europe were not that simple. Punjab’s mustard fields were adequate to stimulate us for a road trip.

Anjaana- Anjaani –  Though the script was dull, stunning places and sceneries managed to amaze us to the next level. More than a story, it was about the freedom, travel and satisfaction and hence this movie is on the list.

Bombay to Goa – This movie is released in 1972. Yes! And even if you see it today, it will inspire you to take a bus trip. What makes this movie more inspiring is, passengers in that bus are complete strangers to each other and still they manage to have fun with adventures and comedy.
