PUBG Mobile is Not Returning Back to India
After the solemn news of the PUBG mobile ban in India due to government interventions, it was speculated that it will return to India after modifications. But now, the scene has changed. PUBG Mobile is not coming back to India as per the reports by IGN India.
but as per the sources, all the 59 applications banned by the government will remain banned including the PUBG Mobile.
The PUBG Mobile was banned on 30 October 2020 by the government due to the clash between India and China. The Government banned all the Chinese applications and the PUBG Mobile was also connected to China. The government of India banned it and the reason was “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, the security of the state and public order.” As per the sources, “The authorities aren’t stupid, even if publishing duties have changed hands, the development of the game is based in China,” and hence, it will remain banned.
Amid the PUBG ban, PUBG Corporation was trying to bring it back to India since November. PUBG Corporation even pledged to invest $100 million into the gaming industry of India. It transferred the publishing rights of PUBG Mobile back to the South Korean holding firm from China’s Tencent Gaming to improve their functioning and policies. The developers of the game were working on its Indian website. Even the ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, approved the registration of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. on 24 November 2020.
Many rumors about the PUBG launch were in the headlines. It was speculated that it would come back till the new year. But now the news is confirmed, the PUBG Mobile is not returning to India. While there are no chances of PUBG mobile coming back to India, Fearless and United- Guards (FAU-G) is recently launched in India on the auspicious day of 26 January 2021.
