Naveen Kumar Gowda, well known by his stage name Yash is a Kannada cinema actor. He is well known for his works in the movies like Rajadhani, Mr and Mrs Ramachari, Kirataka, K.G.F Chapter 1. He debuted in the feature film Moggina Manasu (2008), playing the male lead role opposite his then future wife Radhika Pandit.
K.G.F is an abbreviation for Kolar Gold Fields, a gold mine that was started by British in the days of British ran. It is taluk that comes under the Kolar district of the South Indian state Karnataka. The kolar Gold mines were nationalised in 1956 and provided over 900 tones of gold in total.Latter it was closed by Indian government on 28th February 2001 due to environmental reasons. The movie is a historical thriller, it is set in the 70s and is based on the real-life story of Thangam, a notorious rowdy shelter from K.G.F.

K.G.F chapter 1 is a 2018 released kannada language action movie, written and directed by Prashnath Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale films. It was the first movie of the two parts series of K.G.F. The film talks about Raja Krishappa Bairya ( Rocky), born in a poor family, comes to Bombay in quest of power and wealth as desired by his dying mother. The poor boy gets involved with the gold mafia and was recruited to kill Garuda, the heir in- waiting, in the Kolar Gold Fields.Anant Nag narrates the movie besides playing the supportting role.At the 66th National Film Awards the movie won Awards for Best Action and Best Special Effects.It is a blockbuster hit not only in Kannada cinema but also in Indian cinema

Yash is casted as Rocky and Ramchandra Raju as Garuda. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and actress Raveena Tandon have also been cast in the Chapter 2. The movie is reported to be released on 23 October 2020. And will be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
