According to a source close to Vicky, “Vicky loves his team and know the kind of effort they put in. So, when he was there, he made trips to various stores to pick up things such as bags, shoes and perfumes for them. His team was surprised by this gesture.” This certainly means a lot for the team.
On the work front, it is said that he will be seen in Hindi remake of Tamil film Veeram titled as ‘Land of Lungi.’ Vicky Kaushal will be also seen in Karan Johar’s next directorial Indian period drama Takht. The film is full megastars and it is one of the ambitious projects of Dharma Productions. The film stars Ranveer Singh as Dara Shukoh, Anil Kapoor as Shah Jahan and Vicky Kaushal as Aurangzeb with other actors such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor. The movie will go on floors in December 2019. The story of the film is written by Sumit Roy and Hussain Haidry.
Other actors are busy with their ongoing work. Kareena Kapoor on Takht said, “I am excited to work with him (Karan Johar) after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. We will start shooting for Takht in December,” she told the daily. Kareena and Karan are reuniting for a film after 18 years. Takht is set in the Mughal era. The film will reportedly tell the tale of two warring brothers.”
