King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan will be giving their voices for King Mufasa and his son Simba respectively in the Hindi version of ‘The Lion King’.  Regarding the same, Shah Rukh said that ‘The Lion King’ is a movie that his entire family loves the most and holds a very special place in their hearts.

Walt Disney Studios announced the news first and shared “The most iconic father-son story of all time, featuring the King himself @iamsrk and #AryanKhan. Disney’s #TheLionKing in cinemas July 19.”

Shah Rukh said that the legacy of Lion King is timeless, and being a part of this iconic re-imagining with my son Aryan makes it extra special for me. We are most excited that AbRam is going to watch this.”

SRK also tweeted about the same saying “Glad to be a part of this journey… a timeless film. Voicing it in Hindi with my own Simba. The last time we did a film was around 15 years ago and it was ‘Incredible’ and this time around its even more fun. Hope everyone enjoys it 19th July onwards. #TheLionKing”.

When the news came out, some people reacted to it positively. SRK’s fans and movie buffs were very happy and expressed their joy and eagerness to watch the film. While a few called it another case of nepotism as Aryan got an opportunity. Twitter is raising the N-word and some dragged SRK’ daughter Suhana into the same as she was on a magazine cover without even doing anything.

In 2004, When Aryan seven-years-old, he dubbed for Dash in the movie called The Incredibles and Shah Rukh Khan voiced Mr Incredible. This is the only experience Aryan have and that’s why Twitter is not keeping any calm.

The Lion King is releasing on July 19. It is directed by Jon Favreau who also directed the film The Jungle Book.
