Dharma Productions celebrates the 22nd anniversary of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. It’s been 22 years since the launch, and we still remember the iconic dialogues of the film by our King Khan “Shah Rukh Khan.” Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” is a beautiful film that elegantly resembles love and friendship- one’s real emotions, feelings, and heartbreaks.

All about Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

If you haven’t watched the movie, the plot follows the story of two best friends, Anjali Sharma and Rahul Khanna. Rahul and Anjali are carefree college mates; they enjoy life as it goes without any limits. And there comes Tina Khanna, the principal’s daughter, who becomes Rahul‘s love interest. One fine day when Rahul opens about his feelings for Tina with Anjali, Anjali becomes heartbroken as she had feelings for Rahul and expected that he would also feel the same as she did. When Rahul and Tina become one, Anjali decides to move away from that place, thinking she would feel better. 

Later, Rahul and Tina get married. After giving birth to a baby girl, Tina dies of cancer and insists on naming her child as ‘Anjali,’ the name of their dear friend ‘Anjali Sharma.’ Young Anjali grows a little older and strives to get back her father and Anjali Sharma together as her mother wished. 

Moving on to Anjali Sharma, she turns into a beautiful woman from a crazy tomboy; she works as a student counsellor at Shimla. To fulfil her mother’s wish, Young Anjali somehow reaches Shimla to meet Anjali Sharma and be friends with her at the summer camp. In search of her daughter, Rahul Khanna heads to Shimla, becomes emotional and happy while meeting Anjali Sharma after a long time. They reunite and spend some quality time together. Before Rahul could confess his feelings to Anjali, he comes to know that Anjali is already engaged and is ready to marry Aman. 

As Anjali had feelings for Rahul since the beginning, she becomes hesitant to marry Aman after meeting Rahul again. Before Aman could tie the knot, he realizes the little girl’s efforts and the intense love between Rahul and Anjali Sharma and determines to make them one. The film had a happy ending where Rahul and Anjali Sharma get married heartfully with all the love. The happy song plays, and Anjali Khanna sees her father and his best friend becoming one as her mother envied. 

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Controversy-

On its 22nd anniversary, Dharma Productions shared a video from the movie with joy and tagged its cast members. Well, we notice that Anupam Kher, a prominent actor from the film, is not tagged. Though Anupam Kher retweets to the post and mentions that he is also a part of the film and wished he could be tagged in the post, he states that he is happy to be a part of the film, taking it sportively.

Kuch Hota Hai Cartoon Version

Well, there are rumours regarding the making of the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Cartoon version. We don’t know precisely when it is coming up, but there are still talks about the show. Sources state that the original film stars will voice for the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai cartoon characters. Cartoons are love, that too a blockbuster like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai turning into a cartoon would be amusing.
