VJ Chithra Tamil TV actress allegedly committed suicide in the five-star hotel in Nazarethpettai in Tamil Nadu. The 28-year-old TV actress was playing the role of ‘Mullai’ in a popular show called Pandian stores. The reason behind her suicide is still ascertained.
According to the reports, Chithra had returned from the shoot at EVP Film City at 2:30 am to the hotel room today. She was staying here with her fiancé businessman Hemant Ravi. They both had got engaged a few months back.
The case was reported with Nazarethpettai police. In a statement Hemant fiancé of Chithra said that after she came from shooting, she had gone for a bath and did not come out for long. She did not respond to the knocks, hence he had called hotel staff and open the door through duplicate keys. They found her hanging from the ceiling with her saree in the bathroom. The police are yet to release any official statement and are investigating in this regard.
Late Chithra had started her career in 2013 as an anchor in Makkal TV, then worked with Jaya TV and ZEE Tamil. She had become famous after she played the role of Mullai since 2018. The incident left her fans shocked.
