Kota Factory and Hostel Daze star Jitendra Kumar aka Jeetu bhaiya and Biswapati Sarkar in the lead roles has now seen starring the new Amazon Prime series created by TVF titled “Panchayat”. After his hit TVF series Kota factory, which deals with the life of pupils preparing hard for IITs, Jitendra has now been cast in a comedy-drama, Panchayat. This series captures the journey of an engineering graduate Abhishek, who joins as a secretary of a panchayat office due to a lack of better job options in a remote village in Uttar Pradesh.
The trailer of this Panchayat series was out on 30th March on youtube on the channel Amazon Prime Video India.

Panchayat has been directed by Deepak Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar.
The trailer on YouTube has crossed 8.1 million views in four days. Undoubtedly, people are loving the trailer, and jitendra being casted makes it worth loving.
In the trailer, we see how Abhishek’s friend motivates him to join the job of the Secretary of panchayat in a village named Phulera earning him 20,000 rupees. Lacking better job options he takes this job. Soon he is seen being fed up of village life so he decides to prepare for CAT but the frequent power cuts unable him to study. This story of Abhishek is all about ‘preparing for life out of the comfort zone’.
“Panchayat” is out today i.e. 3rd April 2020 only on Amazon Prime Video.
