Kapil Sharma Called for an inquiry by the Mumbai Crime Branch

Comedian Kapil Sharma has been summoned by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police. The police will record the statement of Kapil Sharma over the fake registered cars.

Comedian Kapil Sharma has been summoned by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police to record the statement. Sharma has been called to file a statement in the DC design cheating case of car designer Dilip Chhabria. Today Kapil Sharma may be present in Crime branch to give his statement over the fake registered cars.

Police said that Kapil Sharma had filed a complaint against car designer Dilip Chhabria for allegedly cheating. Now he has been called to record his statement as a witness.

The evening of 29 December, the founder of DC Design Private Limited, Dilip Chhabria was arrested by the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) of Crime Branch from MIDC in Andheri.

According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, on December 18, the team received secret information that there are two or more vehicles of the same engine and chassis number and one of them is going to come near the Taj Hotel in Colaba. After this, a team of Crime Branch reached the spot and stopped a DC car and examined the papers of that car.

It was learned that the vehicle was registered in the state of Tamil Nadu in 2016. When the Crime Branch investigated the engine and chassis number of that vehicle on the vehicle portal of the Government of India, it was found that there is another vehicle of the same engine and chassis number which was registered in the state of Haryana in 2017.

Kapil Sharma had a reported a case of Vanity Van. He had asked the Dilip Chhabria to design a vanity van similar to Shahrukh Khan. Kapil Sharma had paid him half money of the van but Dilip Chhabria did not make it. So Kapil Sharma will be investigated in this regard by the Crime branch today.
