James Wan all set to produce “Archive 81” for Netflix

He has produced and directed various movies like The Conjuring, Insidious, Aquaman, Fast & Furious 7, Dead Silence, Saw and many more. Basically, his work is famous for the horror genre. Everyone is waiting eagerly for his next great production, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

However, there is another great news coming up for the horror genre lovers. James Wan is all set produce the “Archive 81” another horror webs series to be released on the Netflix. The series will be consisting of 8 episodes in the first season. It seems that “Archive 81” is inspired by the horror podcast of the very same name, created by Marc Sollinger and Daniel Powell. The sources also suggest that Rebecca Sonnenshine, the director of “Stranger Things” and “Limetown” is likely to direct the first half of the season that will include its premiere. “With ‘Archive 81,’ we are hoping to give the supernatural horror genre a new twist – while keeping a dark, deeply emotional romance as its core,” quoted Rebecca Sonnenshine as suggested by the sources.

Nothing can really match the name of James Wan in the world of the horror genre. However, the releasing dates for “Archive 81” are yet to be announced. But the fans are already excited to experience such a promising horror web series. As far as cast for “Archive 81” is concerned, the sources suggest that Mamoudou Athie and Dina Shihabi will be starring in the horror series. Although, the confirmation to the full cast in “Archive 81” is still awaited. The details for the plot and releasing date for “Archive 81” will be updated in the coming days.
