India’s biggest fundraiser concert ‘I for India’ by Facebook in collaboration with Bollywood

Facebook has brought forth a fundraiser concert ‘I for India’ in collaboration with well known Bollywood celebrities along with famous sportsperson, entrepreneur and some international fame. The fund raised by this concert will be directly credited to the India Covid Responder Fund(ICRF) an online donation platform managed by GiveIndia. This virtual concert will be live globally on Facebook, on 3rd May at 7:30 pm IST aiming to raise 6 crores for the COVID-19 relief fund.

 

GiveIndia is the India’s largest giving platform accessible to more than 23 states and associated with more than 100 NGO’s. This fund raising will be a door to door fund raising type for those people who are most affected financially, have no home and are hunger striken  by this lockdown.

 

85 Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Hritik Roshan, Vidya Balan, Ayushman Khurana, Lilly Singh,Alia Bhatt, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma along with renowned singer like Papon, A.R Rahman, Ustad Zakir Hussain will participate in the charity event. Many sportspeople like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma would also support. International fame like Bryan Adams, Nick Jonas, Sophie Turner, Mick Jagger, Will Smith, Kate Bosworth, Jack Black, Mindy Kaling would also be a part of the event.
