Johnny Depp to Bankroll A Musical Based on King of Pop Michael Jackson’s Life

Johnny Depp is all set to bankroll an upcoming musical based on the life Pop King Micheal Jackson. The musical is having a unique narrative from the point of view of his iconic glove, revealed by Page Six. The screenplay of the musical is written by Julien Nitzberg and is titled “For the Love of a Glove: An Unauthorized Musical Fable About the Life of Michael Jackson, as told by his Glove”.

The show is all set to debut on January 25, 2020, in Los Angeles. The play will have a deep focus on the strange forces that made Micheal and the rebukes that ruined his reputation. The writer of the show, Nitzberg said that he is known for writing multiple biopics. He later revealed that a big TV network wanted him to write a movie on late King of Pop and how the venture didn’t for him as the network didn’t know how to deal with Micheal’s child-abuse allegations.

The same allegations were faced by the HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland”. Micheal’s accusers claimed that the singer had a strange intimate relation with them when they were young.

To answer these allegations, Nitzberg suggested a solution to the network where he said all the accusations on MJ are the results of his glove. The glove is an extraterrestrial creature that feeds on the blood of young boys. It was the glove who made him do it.

Micheal Jackson’s musical will be produced by Johny’s production company called Infinitum Nihil. On the other hand, this is not the only play being released in the near future in the late popstar’s life. “MJ” will be opening at Neil Simon Theatre in July 2020. This musical is also based on Micheal’s life and scandals. The preview performances will open from July 6.
