Developed and published by Ubisoft studios, Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter video game. The game was released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 1 December 2015. And subsequently, it became a popular esports game. The fact that in November 2019, the game recorded over 45 million registered players supports its acclaim among gamers. Since then, Ubisoft adopted a different approach for the game, which meant that they kept releasing updates for it.
As we’ve mentioned, Ubisoft has released several downloadable contents for Rainbow Six Siege over the years. The most recent addition to it is Operation Shadow Legacy. On 12 August 2020, the developers announced the DLC. And this time around, Tom Fisher from the Splinter Cell series joins the game.
Splinter Cell is perhaps Ubisoft’s iconic game series, apart from Assassin’s Creed. And Sam Fisher stars as its protagonist. Despite its success, Ubisoft hasn’t come up with an SC game since the 2013 release Splinter Cell Blacklist. However, in recent years, Sam Fisher has featured in other Ubisoft franchises. This time, Fisher takes on the moniker of Zero.
As usual, Fisher doesn’t come without his noteworthy equipment. Therefore, he will be wielding the SC3000K assault rifle. Moreover, he also has access to an MP7, along with his trademark silenced pistol. Players will also have the advantage of spying on others because Fisher possesses an Argus Launcher that shoots cameras.
Also, players will control a more aged Sam Fisher in Operation Shadow Legacy. At the age of 63, Sam is a superspy no more. But that doesn’t discount his value. At the moment, Ubisoft rates him as a medium speed and medium armoured attacker. And with his tools and weapons by his side, Sam ‘Zero’ Fisher will be a worthy opponent for everyone. Also, we assume that he’ll quickly become a favourite character.
