CoD Cold War is the sixth instalment in the Black Ops story arc. Also, it’s the seventeenth overall title in the franchise.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War: Release date
Although Activision has announced it, they are yet to unveil it officially. However, they intend to reveal it worldwide on the 26th of this month. At the moment, we don’t know when the game will release. Reportedly, the developers have scheduled the game for a release in 2020. Furthermore, we don’t know the platforms on which the game will be available. For now, we assume that it will come out on all current and next-generation consoles along with PC.

The developers have kept details of the upcoming game under tight wraps. So, to know about the gameplay, we are relying on rumours and reports. The previous video game of the Black Ops arc didn’t feature a single-player mode. However, with Modern Warfare’s success, we highly doubt that the game won’t have a single-player mode.
As to whether the zombie mode will make its return, current reports point to positive. Zombie mode is one of the franchise’s most significant attractions in recent times. Therefore, we can’t imagine the game parting with it. Plus, if the leaks are genuine, players will surely get to play the mode.

Call of Duty is primarily an action-adventure gaming series. The story usually features covert operations set in modern or future times, and even in the past.
