This movie was titled as ‘Kizie Aur Manny’ but after some time name is changed to ‘Dil Bechara.’ Sushant said that he is going with his instincts because he liked the script. ‘Dil Bechara’ is the Hindi Version of Josh Boone’s Hollywood film which released in 2014 and John Green’s 2012 ’s popular novel The ‘Fault in Our Stars.’ Mukesh Chhabra is making his directorial debut with ‘Dil Bechara’. He has done casting direction for many films. This film also features Sanjana Sanghi and Saif Ali Khan in main roles.
Sushant told that he has read the novel and he has also seen the Hollywood version of the movie. He liked it and as he liked the script, he has signed the film. This film has music by AR Rahman, and the title is taken from Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics for one of the tracks.
