BARC reported the highest views on Doordarshan channel, as it reruns the shows like Ramayan, Mahabharat, Shaktiman, Buniyaad, Chanakya, Beyomkesh Bakshi, amid this lockdown.

Getting back all these nostalgic shows is surely a treat for the people amid this corona lockdown. Starting with Ramayan, Instagram page ‘ddnational’ posted informing the re-telecast of Ramayan, captioning ‘negative thinking can make life topsy-turvy ‘.

Ramayan is an Indian Hindu mythology series, that depicts how truth and greatness win over arrogance and evil. Ram, the eldest son of the king of Ayodhya was sent to exile for 14 years with his wife, Sita and brother, Laxman. There, Ravan, the king of Lanka, kidnaps Sita by deception. Coming to know this, Ram wages a war against Ravan. Saving Sita from Ravan, Ram kills Ravan.
